What is a Tax Registration Number?

What a Tax Registration Number is:

CloudMayor collects Tax Registration Numbers (“TRNs”) associated with Value Added Tax (“VAT”) in certain countries to determine your status, as a business (B2B) or private / non-business customer (B2C), as this is a key factor to determine CloudMayor’s liability to charge VAT on your usage charges.

The TRN is also known as the Tax Identification Number (“TIN”), VAT Number, VAT ID, or VAT Registration Number. The format and name depend on the country.

How to update the Tax Registration Number associated with your organization's CloudMayor account:

  1. You must first navigate to the account organization page. You can get to this page either through the account menu page or via the sidebar on the left if you are accessing the portal via a desktop. CloudMayor Individual Account Message Screenshot
  2. If you would like to update the organization's Tax Registration Number and you have the proper privileges, scroll down to the Tax Information section of the page. Then edit the information field shown below with the new TRN:CloudMayor Account Organization Tax Information Field
