What is Tax-Exempt Status?
What tax-exempt status means:
Tax-exempt status means that an organization is exempt from paying federal corporate income tax on income generated from activities that are substantially related to the purposes for which the entity was organized.
If your organization has an active tax exemption status, you are eligible for tax exemption on your CloudMayor invoice. Once you submit the proper tax exemption documentation to us and it is verified with federal and/or state agencies, only then will your CloudMayor invoice reflect as such.
How to apply tax-exempt status to your CloudMayor account:
If you believe that you are eligible to use your tax exemptions for your CloudMayor usage, you must be able to provide a valid tax exemption certificate for the state(s) where you are located. The documentation/certificate should be emailed to tax-exempt-status@cloudmayor.com. To learn more about tax-exempt documentation submission, Click Here.
To learn the requirements for tax exemption, please consult the federal and/or state agencies that govern the applicable taxes for your organization.
