How to Set Up Automatic AWS Credential Expiration?

To set up automatic AWS credential expiration:

  1. You must first navigate to the AWS credentials list page that will list all of the created AWS credentials. CloudMayor Credentials List Screenshot Note: If you are receiving the "No Credentials" page, you must create a credential first before you can set up automatic expiration.   2. While on the credentials list page, click on the button shaped like a key next to the credential that you would like to set the automatic expiration on. CloudMayor Credential View Screenshot
  3. While on the view page for the selected credential you scroll down to the section labeled "AWS Credential Expiration". Then check the "This credential should automatically expire." box to enable the field to be edited. CloudMayor Credential Expiration Screenshot
  4. Once you have checked the box, type in the date or use the date picker to set up on which date you would like the AWS credential to expire on. CloudMayor Credential Expiration Screenshot
  5. Once you are finished typing in the expiration date, click the "Save" button to save your changes. (If you change your mind about editing a credential click on the "Back" button to be return to the credential list page.) CloudMayor Credential Expiration Screenshot Note: If you would like to remove a set up expiration date, just uncheck the "This credential should automatically expire." box to disable the field again.
